OpenLAN
When presented with the opportunity to have a LAN at school only a handleful of attenders rallied their machines. The first public LAN was designed to be a forerun of the much anticipated 5 day LAN at the end of the school year. Bob Cawley supervised the event and was immpressed by the speed of setting up and lack of major technical issues. Much fun was had by all, Attenders, parents, members of the faculty and general onlookers alike.
The highlights of the event were...
- The playing of many old time classics such as Jimmy Hendrix and that anoying "easy as ABC" song. Man I hate that song.
- Rawson using the super projector as a monitor and embarrasing himself.
- Bob Cawley on Battlefield, was naff ha;f the time but actually managed a good killing streak in a Half Track.
- Some people had a roast dinner, personally I stay well away from anything a pupil has cooked.
- Good memories on Goldeneye.
- Bad memories on some generic Mega Drive football game and Sam Williams on Sonic.
